Junior Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our team and build compelling new applications and services for our social networking platform. You should be passionate about building great software and solving large-scale technical problems.

Responsibilities

· Create complex web applications and services
· Implement web interfaces using XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
· Work closely with product and design teams to design and build compelling new features
· Work closely with infrastructure teams to build software that can scale

Qualifications
· 2+ years experience building web-based applications
· Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
· Experience in programming with PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, or similar
· Experience with JavaScript, Ajax, and jQuery preferred
· Knowledge of OOP and MVC
· Knowledge of MySQL and relational databases
· Knowledge of Linux, Apache, and web hosting environments is a plus
· Sense of humor is a must-have
